Do we have to keep feeding them?

Sometimes.

We feed then because they are an INVESTMENT and we expect a profit.

Unfortunately, not all pigs return a profit.  You can feed them, nurture them, encourage them, provide them a good environment, and even with all that, they sometimes end up costing more than they're worth.

Looks like our little piglet, District 207, is about to up the ante by $300,000,000 (estimated after fees and interest).   Unlike real pigs, we cant take them to slaughter (get rid of them), but we can keep porky from getting too fat!

Introduction

My name is Kenneth Butterly and I’m a fellow D-207 taxpayer. I’m not against paying higher taxes for education: To the contrary, I’ve been paying them to D-207 for the past 20 years without having anybody – child, grandchild, niece, nephew – in a D-207 school.

Originally I thought the proposed D-207 building projects and the referendum to fund them were good ideas. But since June I’ve been collecting information about those projects from D-207 under the Freedom of Information Act (“FOIA”) that not only has changed my mind but which also, frankly, has appalled me.

This blog site will review and display the FOIA derived information that lead me to my conclusion. point.

In the end, it will be up to you to determine if D207 deserves your YES vote on November 6th
